MakeitGood Tayside is a conversation about good relationships and good sex. Young people from across Tayside have been sharing their views and experiences. Make it Good happened because NHS Tayside wanted to get insight from young people about their romantic and sexual relationships. The idea is that finding out more from young people about what they want and need will help improve information, services and support.
The quotes and information from young people are a valuable resource that can be used to open up discussion in a safe way, that respects young people’s views on a range of topics.

The first items below are 4 summary presentations that capture the main findings of MakeitGood. Then underneath you will find all the topic chapters.
The different chapters that are published on this site talk about social marketing. This is like any marketing or advertising, but rather than selling a product this kind of marketing influences what people think about a topic and supports them to change behaviour so that they can lead a happier, healthier life. The interest in social marketing is because NHS Tayside are considering how to communicate positive sexual health messages to young people especially when it comes to contraception and condom use. Social marketing works best when it is influenced by what people say their lives are like.
The project was funded by NHS Tayside and supported by Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth and Kinross Council. Voluntary sector agencies also helped. The project was delivered by an independent company called TASC.
Thank you to everyone who contributed.
NHS Tayside, Sexual Health & BBV MCN are working with partners across Tayside to develop “Make it Good” further, so that it is available to be used with young people. This page will be updated with further activities and session plans when they are available. Click here for access.
