Interpretation and Translation Information

If English is not your first language, or if you have sight or hearing impairment, interpreters can be arranged to accompany you at your appointment. Interpreters are trained in clinical communication and they are bound by the same patient confidentiality rules as all other healthcare workers. If you need someone to interpret for you, please let the person who makes your appointment know when you phone.

Some of our leaflets have been translated and are available in our resources section or on the NHS Tayside Patient Information section of the website.
Documents can be made available in other languages and formats on request. Contact NHS Tayside Communications Department on 01382 424138.
