PEP is a 28 day course of anti retroviral medication.
PEP should be commenced as soon as possible; however it can be started up to 72 hours after potential exposure. The earlier it is commenced the more effective it is.
Where can I get PEP?
Will I definitely get PEP?
You will be assessed by a clinician who will discuss the level of HIV risk and whether PEP would be recommended or not.
