NHS Tayside and the Sexual Health & BBV MCN are proud to have been invited to participate in 2020’s Dundee Virtual Pride. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to meet up and march as in previous years, but hopefully we can still all show our support and commitment to the LGBT community by attending the virtual event.

During COVID 19 lockdown, we aren’t as able to see those we are close to, as we would like. This does however present an amazing opportunity:
If we can test as many people at high risk of acquiring HIV as possible, we can make massive progress in breaking the chain of HIV infection.
Testing, treatment and prevention of HIV, has never been simpler.

You can order a free test to take yourself, at home, by visiting either, test.tht.org.uk or hivtest.scot
If your test is reactive, meaning that the test has identified HIV antibodies, you will be referred to specialist sexual health and HIV services. Here, they will make sure you get the care you require.
If your test is negative, and you still believe you are at higher risk of acquiring HIV. Have a chat with one of the clinicians and find out if PrEP is right for you. Find out more by clicking, here.
