This World Hepatitis Day (Sunday 28th July), NHS Tayside are working alongside Hepatitis Scotland and five other NHS Boards, to highlight the new advancements in treatment, and encourage people who think they may have been at risk to have a test #BeHepCFree:

·         90% Cure Rate

·         2-4 months treatment

·         No Injections, Just Tablets

·         Easy and Painless Liver Tests

·         Minimal Side Effects

·         Treatment for all

A focus on testing, accessible treatment and prevention will ensure we CAN eliminate hepatitis C as a public health concern in Scotland in the years to come – improving the lives of those affected by the illness and those at risk. With new medications transforming the treatment landscape there is an incredible opportunity to improve the health of Scotland’s communities.

We are asking you to display these posters and share campaign materials online, so that we can highlight the advancements in treatment, and encourage people who think they have been at risk, to have a test!

On Saturday 27th July 2019, between 12 and 5 pm, Men Only Tayside (MOT) will be holding a testing event at Club Kudos sauna, on 11 Princes Street, Dundee.
