Tayside sexual and reproductive health service (TSRHS) is changing.

From 25th February 2019:

  • Tayside sexual and reproductive health provides a predominantly booked appointment service. Please do not drop-in to the sexual health clinic.
  • When you phone for an appointment you will be asked some questions by a sexual health nurse which will help us decide when you should be seen or if we need to refer you to another service.
  • Appointments are available to book up to 48 hours in advance for those with an urgent sexual or reproductive health need.
  • For an appointment please phone 01382 425542 between 0900-12:00.

We can provide the following at our general clinics;

STI testing – If you have no symptoms or other risk factors you could attend a ‘No talk test clinic’.   Most GP practices offer STI testing so please contact your GP to check.

STI treatment

Contraception – Most GP practices offer contraception advice and many fit coils and implants so please contact your GP to check first.

Emergency contraception –  Most pharmacies in Tayside will supply one of the two available  emergency contraceptive pills free of charge to anyone aged 13 and over who is registered with a GP in Scotland. We accept referrals for the emergency coil which is the most reliable method of emergency contraception.

Referral for termination of pregnancy – Your GP can also refer.
