Anyone, regardless of gender identity, can be a victim of sexual violence. Men Only Tayside, understand how difficult it can be to discuss an experience of sexual violence with a support agency or even talk to family and friends about it, and that this time can be a traumatic time, where more support is required. Men Only Tayside (MOT) and Victim Support Scotland (VSS) are collaborating to offer individual, tailored support to men, including trans-men (anyone identifying as male) who have experienced recent sexual assault or rape. Victim Support Scotland are offering emotional support to people who have experienced sexual assault or rape. The support consists of a support plan tailored to your needs, including discussions, on the phone or face to face, depending on what is most appropriate for you, and information and support through the process and a witness support service at court.

We hope this confidential service will enable more men to come forward, seek help and gain dedicated support.

When you get in touch, VSS will arrange a confidential meeting in a safe space to discuss how best to assist you.

Victim support Scotland will support anyone who has experience the negative effects of a crime, this service is specifically for people identifying as male, who are 18 or older, living in Tayside. If you are 18 or older and have recently experienced sexual assault, please get in touch with us on the details below.
